Coal is the largest source of energy for the generation of electricity in the United States. Coal is cheap and available. However, coal has its limitations. Energy from coal releases pollutants into the atmosphere leading to global warming, acid rain and human diseases. Solar energy, on the other hand provides clean source of energy from the sun, but without harming the atmosphere and not releasing pollutants. The environmental benefits of Solar energy doesn’t contribute to global warming. The environmentalal benefits of Solar energy instead helps to resolve global warming by providing clean energy, thereby bringing benefits to the environment.
So why not using solar energy instead of coal energy? The benefits of using solar energy are endless as well as the abundance of energy since the sun is limitless. By doing so, you’ll be helping to save our environment for a better future for your generation as well as for future generations.
